This place is just convenient if you need to stay one night. But otherwise it's very basic. On the other hand it is clean and the price is average. The location is near the railway station - in the walking distance.

Had been to this hotel during my two days official visit to indore and had stayed for one day in this hotel. This hotel is good for stay as it has clean rooms and good food but staff needs to be a bit caring and supportive.

We stayed here for a day as we arrived from Omkareshwar in the afternoon and had our train at night. We had a double bed room which was spacious, good and clean. There are a plenty of restaurants at walk-able distance around. Railway station is also walk-able from here. Overall I would say, its ok for a short stay.

I think the 750 mark is too much for a bed which doesn't have changed sheets after previous guests, bathroom with poor plumbing and pressure, and no WiFi unless you are in lower floors. Also it gets very noisy in the morning because of staff which communicates by screaming from one floor to another. But choosing from only 4 hotels which accept foreigners in Indore is not easy, this is the better one. Location is handy nearby bus and train station and getting around the city is easy with shared vans which can take you to iBus for only 5Rs.

Handily placed, a short walk from the railway and bus stations, but not that easy to find. It's down a rough, broken paved alley. The manager was efficient, booked us in quickly, ordered us a pot of tea etc. The room was light and airy - perhaps a little too airy thanks to a window frame which had obviously been made for a much larger window! Nothing wrong with a bit of fresh air of course except that the alley stank of oil and other fumes emanating from a number of auto parts workshops. But.....it was clean (if not absolutely spotless), the bed was ok, and if we had to ask for anything it was quickly provided. And at just below 1000 rupees (January 2016) we had few real complaints. Until BANG BANG on the door in the evening. A job's worth police sergeant and a constable demanding to see our passports and getting really shirty with us. We had seen no other Westerners around that day and I assume he had been tipped off about the strange couple lurking around certain streets near the railway where there was high security. Eventually we persuaded the sgt that we were honest, hard working, married and totally innocent of all charges. The manager wrung his hands apologetically. The following afternoon he arranged for a lad to carry our rucksacks to the station while we followed, a little like the old Brit colonials. Slightly embarrassed. But pleased to be free,.
